Electrical Vehicle

Prerequisite: Completion of Basic Electrical is required prior to enrollment.

 This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills needed to work safely with Heavy Equipment Battery Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicle systems. Learners will identify safety systems, review required maintenance procedures, and examine key vehicle components. The course also explores the dangers associated with high-voltage systems, the impact of magnetic fields, methods for determining rotational speed, and the steps necessary to safely de-energize hybrid vehicle systems.
